Tonight I had food delivered and the delivered to the lobby instead of my room as instructed, and after contacting reception who claimed they never received anything but would check and call me back, they called back 1 hour and 57 minutes after my call. On the third call, I was just told to be patient by the extremely rude and arrogant staff. ![]() From my in room phone not being able to contact reception - it won’t dial out or even internally, to staff refusing to assist in delivering a coffee from the foyer starbucks to my room as I can’t leave (How about some compassion you bafoons), to in house services such as laundry just never showing up to collect items, to ringing from my cell phone to reception 3 times over the course of 40 minutes each time to request cutlery for my dinner which continued to go cold. I’ve experienced hotel quarantine in all locations and I can say by far, this Hilton is by far the worst, especially in service I have ever received - quarantine or not. I travel frequently for business, and during the pandemic I’ve quarantined across Europe, Australia and the U.S. If that’s not hard enough in its own right, I’ll miss Christmas and also New Years with my family. I’m currently staying at Hilton Newark Airport for 10 days in quarantine after contracting COVID the day prior to my intended departure back to my home country on a business trip.
